Thailand Notice : Political situation effect local delivery/ 13 Jan 2014

One week have passed since the protesters' shutdown in the capital of Thailand.

Despite the closure of some routes and sporadic shooting/bombing at protest areas, the regular transportation and distribution of cargoes have gone well without any hindrance.

Such closures have not called for the major contingency plans that we have planned for and we foresee a manageable situation with regards to your shipments.

We shall provide you with more updates in the coming week or if there is any disruption/changes.

DATE:2014-1-13

The announcement by the Anti-Government Protesters states that they will be shutting Bangkok by blocking 20 major intersections (mostly in downtown BKK) on 13th Jan.

There has been no specified date when this will end and hence, we would like to seek your close communication with us with regards to your shipments in order to continue our deliveries to you.

Contingencies have been setup and our office will continue to work at full strength to coordinate your shipments.

We will be monitoring the situation around the clock and our fleet of trucks will provide a 24 hour on-call service for any urgent deliveries.

Airports and Sea Ports will remain open throughout this period but however, we would advice an earlier cut-off for any pick up to the ports.

Should you need to stage your products for deliveries, we would be pleased to offer our Free Zone warehouse located inside the Suvarnabhumi Airport and Lat Krabang Industrial Estate as well as our General Warehouse located at Chao Khun Tahan which is directly opposite the entrance to Inland Container Depot Lat Krabang.

We are just a call away 02-790 1300 should you need any assistance.
